San Francisco Love

It happened again! In the spur of the moment we decided to check out within the hour. Almost. This time to pay a visit to San Francisco. We were supposed to go back to LA after 2 nights in Carmel, but being only 2 hours away from San Francisco; how can one resist to visit the Bay Area…? I have had a crush on SF since I shot the movie Sedona’s Rule here in SF and I will always be a huge agitator for the city. I love the arts,

Road Trip Baby!

My boyfriend Thomas arrived from Nicaragua Friday and as usual we have so much catching up to do. Our lives couldn’t be more different I think. He is an engineer and I am doing my thing. Excel and artist meet and go ‘hmmm’! It is always interesting to hear what the other one has been up to lately. I love to hear about his world and about the jungle. It is still  exotic to me even though I have visited many times. I even understand a lot of Spanish now

Acupuncture 101

Have you ever considered acupuncture? As in having needles stung deep into your skin in weird places on your body, feet and face…? Well, I wanted to do a post about this subject for a while since I have experienced pretty insane and eye opening things happen after I let myself get treated by an acupuncturist here in LA. But I didn’t really know how to approach the subject since treatments are personal and moreover, I wanted to make sure I felt that this type of treatment actually works. And

Ok, so basically my life is like an emotional roller coaster. I wish I could say, it has been going on only for the last few days, but honestly, it’s an ongoing state of body and mind.  I’m not entirely sure why I’m cursed/blessed with this internal ‘struggle’ inside and sometimes I wish there was an equivalent to the AA meetings for ‘us who cannot settle/rest’. I sort of found it, the ‘AA meetings’, while I lived in NYC and was occupied day and night at the William Esper Studio.

New Sunday Obsession

”Super McNasty, why you McLoving when the bitch call me daddy!” Tyga blasting on repeat Sunday morning while I’m krumping, popping and trying to follow the insane moves Miss Natasha Kassar is teaching us. Natasha is my very good friend here in LA. We used to live on top of each other in the same building in West Hollywood. She moved to another space a while back and I miss her a lot. Anyways, she is a hell of a dancer and she has danced and done choreography professionally for

Hotter Than July

Today was probably one of the hottest days so far in LA this year. Above a 100 degrees F and not a single cloud in the sky. Absolutely gorgeous, but also pretty damn boiling if you are working under the rays from early morning until sunset. Today I shot with a cool Danish interior design team who wanted to shoot their image campaign here in West Hollywood and on El Matador Beach north of Malibu. They are called ‘The Mat’. They brought the Danish photographer Signe Morkeberg Sjostrom, who is

Just a quick note on my way to bed. Today I printed out the final draft of the new script I’m reading. We start shooting very soon and I will be relocating to Nevada, Las Vegas for 3 weeks. (Bye-bye LA!) Moving to Vegas in it self is a task. I have never spent more than 3 nights in ‘Sin City’. But this time it will be different. It is not the usual ‘wham-bam-thank-you mam’ situation. We will all live in a huge house a bit away from The Strip

I’ve been back in The City of Angels for a week now and I’m slowly getting back into the jive. Sometimes I feel like I live on the Moon. Especially when I just had a reality check in my hometown of Copenhagen. I love my old city. It is so stylish, safe, beautiful and cute compared to other cosmopolitans. And the more I’m away, the more I see the charms of Copenhagen. Now, the city of Los Angeles is another ballgame. It is beyond crazy, fun, super demanding yet very

It’s Sunday and I’m up early again and about to hit the gym before the day really starts. I’m still exploiting the benefits of being jet lagged. Today I am booked to walk in a fashion show in Beverly Hills. One of my designer friends is honored with ‘The Versace Award for Global Excellence in Fashion’ and he is showing a few pieces at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. It’s huge ballgowns so it will be fun. But prior to that I’m meeting friends at the roof top of Le Petit

Yesterday I sort of took the day off. Not entirely, since I was up early working in front of the computer and then had to hit the gym so I can gain the muscles I need before October 1st. But after that I drove out to Hotel Shutters on The Beach to meet with my good friend and singer Aura. She is visiting for a few weeks from Copenhagen and we always have the most fun and spontaneous days and nights together. This time we just lunched for a few
