Zulu Comedy Awards and Stunt Comedy TV
It’s Tuesday evening here in Copenhagen and I’m home relaxing after a hectic day in various costumes and crazy situations, which is probably why my words are few and very, very slow tonight. I’m about to ZzzzzzZZZZzzz…
Honestly, I’m exhausted after a full playing everything from an innocent ‘Heidi from the Alps’ kinda looking character to the ‘crazy spy meets Kung Fu’ bitch in black leather doing stunts over a cliff. Today’s filming was for a new episode in The Stunt Comedy TV Show. I filmed with the same team in LA back in February and it was super fun to reunite on Danish territory today.
Crazy stunt filming aside, let’s rewind a few days and we are at The glorious Zulu Comedy Galla Awards at the beautiful opera house here in Copenhagen. It’s a famous show, that celebrates the funniest people in this country. And the show was fun and cool and I really enjoyed meeting a lot of peeps from way back when I still lived in the city.
So yeah…. Life is never dull in KK ville. Yet I do miss my home and my loved ones in LA a lot when I am here in Cph. But at the same time, I am also so happy to be in my neck of the woods getting to spend time with family and old friends when I am not working my butt off.
Speaking of family; Tmro is an extremely special day. It’s my mother’s birthday. She turns 60 and I’m very excited to celebrate her this week. You only have one mother. This one woman, who was and has always been there for you. She changed your diaper, held you, fed you, taught you how to walk, speak and become the person you are today. A pretty admirable role if you ask me…
The pics are from the ZULU Comedy Galla Awards and from today’s shoot for The Stunt Comedy TV Show. I am wearing an asymmetric couture, lace mini dress, with a chunky zipper in the side made by the Danish fashion designer Elsa Adams. I LOVE her dresses. they fit me like a glove and the lace is absolutely exquisite. <3
The ‘classic’ Selfie pose 😉
Ann Lind and I at the Zulu after party. It sort of looks like we are in a Finnish Sauna club, but we are actually at Toldboderne 😉
My good friend and amazing, talented actor Sami Darr at the Zulu Comedy Awards. We met almost a year ago now, when we shot a movie together in Nevada. Sami has a new big TV show coming out here in Denmark premiering this Sunday. I’m very excited for him.
