Behind the Scenes of our Rock’n’Roll People Magazine Shoot

Hello my gorgeous people!

I’m back again with a little teaser from the shoot I did with one of my Viking Lady-bosses the other day Miss Signe Mørkebjerg Sjøstrøm. The shoot is an editorial for Rock’n’Roll People Magazine, which both Signe and I are big fans of.

Prior to the actual shoot, Signe and I met up and plotted a story board. We are/were both in a state of mind where a lot of issues regarding relationships on many levels, the male / female sexuality and how we treat each other and ourselves have stirred in us. The thoughts and realizations might be negative at first, but the cool thing about working in the arts is that you can actually make good use of bad vibes and negative experiences. Channeling all the sh#t that is thrown at us through a photograph, making movies, a painting, music or really any creative field can be a lifesaver. Literally.

We wanted to break some boundaries with this shoot. And when you see the images you might understand why. (I saw a few today and they are pretty bad-ass). I love how Signe makes me feel comfortable enough to leap and do crazy stuff I would never do on a normal shoot. Moreover, I like that we don’t mind that things get ugly and ‘real’. Obvi, Signe’s images are beautiful, but at times showing something tragic and very lonely in a photograph or a movie can be interesting and touching for us to work with. Life is beautiful, but sides of it can be terrifying. With this soon to be released editorial we are peaking into that universe of decadence, no cares in the world, irresponsibility, hate, excess, indulgence and instant gratification.

No animals nor humans we hurt in the video that I hope you will enjoy haha ;-). Well, Alexander (the male model) and I are non-smokers, so after 6 joints, eyes and throats were sore. And just for the record; the joints are fake as well. They are all home made with normal tobacco.
