The Last 24 H

Getting off the Zpack after traumatizing days with bronchitis tied to my bed here in my LA flat feeling completely useless and unable to neither work nor play. Like a tiger in a cage OD’ing on the view of my ceiling, old Sex& The City episodes, ‘The Age of Innocence’ and miso soup. Arrgh!!!

However, now I’m slowly and gently moving into the real world again doing yoga every morning, sipping green tea, inhaling, exhaling over a bath of lemon and ginger and feeling totally in zen…… Hahaha not!!!! Yesterday night I was in my PJs when it dawned on me that the new club Premiere opened. I daresay that the club scene in LA isn’t exactly my cup of tea. But then again, what is after you have frequented Ibiza…. Sorry, but it’s the truth. Ok, Vegas is also on my short list when it comes to clubbing. Detour. Sorry, but it comes with the territory of my world. Scatterbrained, abstract, living in a dream world where one thought takes over another very fast and I forget where I came from. OMG. I confuse myself sometimes. I’ve driven ex boyfriends mad about this. Sorry boys! I cannot help myself. Peace…!?

Anyways, last night turned out really fun. Really! Because I did decide to check out Friday night in Hollywood with my girl N. But didn’t have time to do so much about the ‘look du nuit’ so I kept my cozy RUN DMC PJ tee on, but changed from PJ pants into a leather skirt, a pair of leopard wedges, my Object leather biker jacket, Louis Vuitton purse and I was ready.

The night took me from Beso, to Premiere to Colony. Good thing about Hollywood is that everything starts so darn early so you are also home very early, which is good when you have castings the next day. Which I had…

I got up early Saturday morning – ouch – had coffee and went to my first casting for a modeling gig and booked it. A very lucky punch since I felt like a female version of Pete Doherty (ok, maybe not quite, but the mix of Zpack and the shots from last night made a – shall we say – ‘certain’ impact on my appearance).

After my casting I stopped by artist Aaron Axelrod’s studio here in WeHo. He just returned from Paris and was preparing his next exhibit in NYC. I worked with him and shot the most insane, fun pictures just before I went on my travels and totally forgot about my pair of black patent leather YSL heels in his studio. Shame on me. I know! So I stopped by to pick up my shoes and to see what he was up to.

Then I went to Target to shop new, white bed linen and rags for all my clothes that keeps piling up in boxes on the floor. Then I figured it was time to get into my sneakers and go for a run and now I’m sitting here at home on a Saturday night, still with wet hair after the shower, wearing a moisture face mask and feeling almost ready for bed… Divine!

Here are a couple of shots from the last 24 hours in Hollywood….
