Sushi Girl
Last night I went to the official Hollywood premiere of my friend and talented producer Neal Fischer’s newest movie ‘Sushi Girl’. I was introduced to Neal through the award winning and super cool Swedish friend and director Hans Montelius, whom I adore and respect. So when he told me to meet up with Neal I was all over it like white on rice.
Background info aside, Neal is great and he has produced and worked on many legendary movies like ‘True Romance’ and ‘Silent Hill’. You get the picture…
However, last night was all about ‘Sushi Girl’. Kern Saxton, the director did a really good job with the cast who were spot and enticing in every scene. Veteran actor Tony Todd keeps amazing me with his voice and Mark Hamill is excellent as well. New interesting names are also introduced, which is so refreshing in a world where most entertainment moguls settle for the safe bet featuring only star names. (Yawn… boring). All in all I was pretty impressed by the whole story set up and Oh the cinematography is superb too. Kudos to Cinematographer Aaron Meister. Moreover, the turn up at The Chinese Theater was massive and so was the celebrity and media attendance.
I hate to compare, but it is hard not to mention Tarantino when you watch ‘Sushi Girl’. Action, Violence, Comedy, Horror,Thriller and Drama in one picturesque and decadent mix. And everything with a unique soundtrack, which reminds me of Jackie Brown.
I hope you will enjoy this movie as much as I did. You can watch the trailer of Sushi Girl by clicking here: Sushi Girl Trailer
Here are some pics from last night on the red carpet. I am wearing an Alexander McQueen gown, Christian Dior purse and vintage shoes. xx KK
