Sunday Funday KK Version
Sunday morning and I’m waking up with a slight hangover after a fun girls’ night out with a few too many cocktails and glasses of wine. Last thing on my mind is being active and honest to God I feel like snoozing my day away. But my philosophy is ”You do the crime, you do the time” so I got my lazy bones up without thinking to much about it, made a pitstop in my gym in the building to get the blood flowing, showered and got myself together before I drove to the location for Sunday’s couture fashion show.
I get backstage into hair and makeup where there are lots of models, stylists and other people running around to make ends meet before the show. I grab a tuna sandwich from craft services, first meal that day, and wolf it down before I’m ushered onto a chair where the makeup artist and the hair stylist start grooming me. When done, one of the coordinators of the show, a beautiful woman in suit with a business look on her face and a determined walk, stops and exclaims: ”See NOW you look like a model!”. Subtext is ”you looked like shit when you first walked in without makeup and wet hair… 😉
I smirk and say thank you and soon the show is about to start and we all line up to get our orders of appearance. I’m walking in 2 shows tonight and I open and close one of the shows. Afterwards we do some red carpet stuff and then I am ready to go home and do sweet absolutely nothing. Monday and Tuesday have been packed with auditions and work. More about this later.
Here are a few pictures from Sunday’s event. have a good night and thanks for stopping by! xx KK
