Happy Thanksgiving!

What are you doing for Thanksgiving? I hope you have some fun plans. Most of my friends are with their families somewhere celebrating, feasting on Turkey and food for days.

This American holiday is what Christmas is for us Europeans; An over the top food and alcohol binge, which goes on for days in the safe and warm embrace and environment of family and good friends. I love the Holidays. No doubt. But I also love making fun of them. Because, honestly, everybody is always stressing out about the holidays, which is such a paradox since ‘a holiday’ is supposed to be  relaxation down time for everyone.

Just today stopping by my local supermarket Ralphs, which is open 24-7, I see people panicking in the aisles searching for browning gravy, stuffing for the turkey, beer and cinnamon. Wow! And I thought I was stressed after 3 days of non stop auditions and LA traffic. Guess not.

So I’m taking the other route this year. I just received the 16 books I ordered on Amazon the other day so I will cuddle up and enjoy some down time with my new ‘friends’ for the next 48 hours.
