Motherhood, Hollywood or Perhaps Both…?
Sitting in the lounge in London waiting for my delayed connection to LA pondering on the last few weeks I spent in Copenhagen and on what awaits me when I get into LA tonight. I’m exhausted after all the family events and experiences I had while in DK, but happy I took the time to reconnect. Even though I speak a lot with my family there is still a feeling of distance and I think you still drift a little bit apart the longer you are seperated. The day-to-day stuff gets lost so it was nice for me to re-experience it.
And here is another one for the road: Everyone is having babies! I had babies crawling all over me during these past 3 weeks. I love children, but it is quite a contrast to my adventurous Hollywood lifestyle and I think my hormones must be reacting to all these little broods because suddenly I start thinking in those terms myself.
I know; crazy right???! Who would have ever thought I would get there? Moi?! It is not that I in particular fancy the thought of being locked down and not being able to live my rock star lifestyle where freedom is king. But there is something else still making the thought alluring and interesting. That being said, it is not something I will nosedive into right away, but I guess having the thoughts is a start. (I’m sure my mother is clapping her hands right now).
Here are 2 pictures where I’m playing ‘mother’. Sort of. What do you think? Does motherhood suit me or not…?
Ok, I need a refill of my peppermint tea now and hopefully they will call my flight soon. I’m so ready to get home and sleep in my own bed.
Speak very soon!
My boyfriend teaching my nephew Morris how to put a tiny plastic device into another plastic device. I think I look more puzzled than Morris if you ask me. (I am also the only I know who really enjoys watching Teletubbies. Sometimes even more than the kids. #JustSaying)
Here I’m with my very good girl friend Maria’s 2 children. Gustav and Liva. Very cute, super adorable and active. My friend is skinner than ever from running around with and after them. ”Pregnancy – the new super diet”. Never thought of that… hehe 😉
