Kitty Kitty

Yesterday I had a meeting with the Argentinian/Danish artist Juan Hein here in Copenhagen. I’m inspired by Juan’s photography and we are talking about doing some work together while I’m in town. He has some pretty radical ideas that have sparked my interest. Political, critical, provocative yet beautiful and with a very personal twist. Juan is the grandson of Piet Hein, who among other achievements is famous for his ‘Grooks’ that I remember reading in newspapers. I even think I still have a small collection of Piet Hein’s writings.

So there we are in a little café in the center of Copenhagen while a blizzard is covering the streets in a thick, white blanket of snow sipping on Cappuccinos and white wine and sharing ideas when Juan shows me this little video made by the genius filmmaker and artist Gaspar Noé and supermodel Eva Herzigova. I adore it. It’s so beautiful and simple… Kitty Kitty…
