Going ‘Günter Wallraff’ in Los Angeles

It’s Weekend. But here in LA LA Land, entertainment central we don’t feel a big difference between Monday and Saturday. Well, perhaps there is a longer line at Trader Joe’s and traffic to the beach is a bitch on Weekends. But the mentality of Hollywood is; tomorrow is always a new day. I might be discovered, bump into Mr. Right, finish my script, get a callback for my audition last week or yeah, like whatever. Meanwhile I can always hit the gym or a yoga class, chill in the sun and go to Soho House or Bootsy Bellows on a Tuesday.

Of course this is a huge generalization. But a fun one and pretty much hitting the spot when it comes to a certain group of people in Hollywood.

Ok, so what have I been up to aside from yoga, waiting for the callback and dining at Soho House? Haha ;-).  I’ve actually taken up writing again. Yes, no shit, which makes me fall into the above described category even more so. After a year in hibernation I am back and this time writing on a TV show and this time with a writing partner. Obviously I have collected tons of inspiration during my almost 5 years in LA, but the next few months I will go ‘Gunther Wallraff’ in The City of Angels so watch out people! You might get personified on the show… 😉

Speaking of going ‘Cali’, here are some photos I shot recently with my good buddy PK. He is the best and we had a chuckle or two doing this shoot. One of my agents told me I need a more commercial and approachable look as a alternative to the modeling/fashion stuff. So PK and I went to the beach and spent a few hours catching some rays while trying to catch some commercial pictures as well. After the last click, we wrapped the day with a 5 course lunch with the finest of wines at Terroni’s on Beverly. Yum!
