Getaway

The good thing about LA is that it’s so easy to get out of LA. I know it sounds weird. But really. Sometimes a getaway can work miracles. We have mountains, the most amazing beaches and sunshine pretty much all year around here in So Cal. It’s the absolute perfect spot for some genuine R&R. But I rarely get around to it because I’m always working.

But these days I find myself in handsome surfer company, so why not hit up Newport Beach and La Jolla, San Diego for a couple of days? I can recommend it.

And surfers dig other surfers, so we are staying with more surfers and I’m not complaining ( haha ;-)..). And surfers means beach. And beach means kickin’ it in flip-flops and a golden tan. Still not complaining. However, after a while the sand and the ‘dude’ talk gets old. And any girl with respect for herself needs some fashion-love at some point. So I found a shoe outlet somewhere down in La Jolla, San Diego where I indulged in Michael Kors and some more Michael Kors….
