Santa Monica Sunset seen from Loewe Hotel

Tonight we were invited to a big party in Santa Monica at hotel Loewe’s. Santa Monica Pier celebrates 100 years tonight with tremendous fireworks ( July 4th go home!). Everyone in the hotel biz turned up cool and collected in suits, dresses, big-up style hairdos and name tags. Very ‘So Cal’ style with a beachy twist.

With a first class view to the Pier and the beach I arrived in my torn jeans and denim jacket no makeup look and felt a bit under dressed, which usually never is the case, but two glasses of Chardonnay on the rocks later I forgot about it.

While gobbling on mini-burgers, snacks, cupcakes and more cupcakes the fireworks began and lit up the sky like was it World War 3. It was quite a show. Now, back in The Hills chilling with a couple of girls on the downstairs balcony I feel relaxed and almost ready for bed. Just have to check my facebook before I brush my teeth 😉
