Filming

Back in LA, 5 hours of sleep and then up and running to my first fitting. It is for a project I booked with the super talented director Ryan Bosworth. The stylist Terra, Ryan, his wife Jen, their dog Berlin and I decide on the outfits for the upcoming shoot and I dart off to the next fitting. Then a meeting and then I’m back home meandering through piles of clothes that origin from my suitcase. The poor beat-up thing looks like it exploded right there on the living room floor. Oh well! I will deal with laundry and other petite tasks another time…

I get 5 hours of sleep the next night and I’m still sort of sleeping when I get to the film set at the crack of dawn with wet hair and no makeup. A cup of coffee works it’s magic and before I know it I’m in costume at my husband’s funeral escaping from magical creatures and my psycho resurrected husband who are trying to kill me. Suddenly I’m everything, but tired. Adrenalin is pumping through my veins and I’m running around defending my life like a mad person. Gosh how I love this job!!!

13 hours of shooting and I’m having a blast. Next day same thing, except it’s more intense and it’s 14 hours of filming. Yesterday I was beat to say the least. I mustered only to finish reading a very funny script and to fall asleep to the movie ‘Mohave Moon’ before I dragged myself to bed.

Here are a few stills from the last few days’ shoot. I’m shooting more this week. Stay tuned for the launch of the project. I am excited to share it!!! 🙂
