Feng Shui Style

Can’t believe how fast this week went. It seems the older we get, the faster life accelerates. After my lovely San Francisco escape it was back to the LA grind where temperatures have risen to almost unbearable heights these past few days.

Midst everything, this annoying and nauseating feeling crept up on me and gave me the worst headache for days. Perhaps you know the feeling when things just go too fast and suddenly you are not sure what’s up and down and where to put your energy first. The ferris wheel is spinning out of control. It can be very stressful and I had to take a day out where I just summoned up energy again.

Sometimes I forget myself in all the excitement of my new business, my movies, the amazing people I meet on a daily basis etc. These are the confessions of a true ‘Adventure Whore’ haha 😉 I guess, I can never really let it go. Adventures and life in the fast lane is like ‘a needle in the vein to me’.

Anyways, as a result of this I did some serious ‘Feng Shui’ in most aspects of my life. And when I say Feng Shui, I actually mean it. Sort of ‘accidently’ I was invited to this evening with a Feng Shui guru from Russia. He was a riot and that course was pretty intense not to mention very fun.

So how did I implement it into my life? Well, I didn’t quite go out and buy the whole kit with compass etc. (Feng Shui is about the energies of ‘time and space’ and one needs a compass to navigate), but I did do my own version. For starters I took care of the piles of old bank papers that needed attention, had a day of returning phone calls, I did some serious clean up and getting rid of old pictures, letters and other trash that I should have done months ago. Then, after all that was done I took a walk in the sun and sat down on a bench for 30 minutes and did nothing. That last part with the bench is probably the weirdest and most random thing I have done in ages. And you know what? It felt damned good 😉
