Big Hair Don’t Care

Last month I shot an ad for the Danish Brand  MOKE HAIR. I already posted some of the ‘behind the scene’ and screen shots a while back on the blog. This week I received the final shots that the photographer and client chose for the actual ad.

Shooting this gig was a fast and very smooth ride. I was very happily surprised by everyone’s professionalism and creativity on set. Creativity and superb talent is usually the case with the peeps I work with, but I cannot stress how much I love efficiency when it does not compromise creativity.

As usual, when I’m in Denmark, I bicycle to every location unless it’s on one of the other islands in the country. This time we were talking a 45 minutes bicycle ride. Piece of cake. And as a Los Angelino I’ll take all the cardio I can get. bring it!

We had aprox 3 – 3,5 hours to get everything done down to last detail, which is very little when your are doing big hair styling. Still we got some awesome shots and had a good time.

I was actually so happy with this experience that when I was asked to model another shoot here in Denmark for a magazine I asked the hair stylist Sonja from MOKE HAIR to be the main hair stylist on set. So more to come soon.

Now I’ll cave in and relax a bit. My stepbrother was married last night and we had an insane and fun party where everybody stayed over at the hotel. I went to bed earlier than my mother. Just saying. That’s how my clan likes to party 🙂 #vikings

Today has been a beautiful blur of fun memories, a walk in the forest with the family, gallons of Queen’s Blend tea, junk food, TV, lighting up the fire place and pure relaxation.

Tmro morning 8:30 am I’m ready to hit the pilates reformer gym for 2 hours straight @ Energii. Nothing like setting the bar high from the get-go of the week…. 😉
