Life

After long days and nights of filming our first project and working on other current and future projects on the side, I am finally on a little road trip with the American side of my family. Once a year, we take a trip somewhere and do something new. Since we are all spread around the world this has been a tradition since almost 10 years. Right now I’m curled up on my bed in a beach motel between Long Beach and New Port Beach. I’m sharing a room with my

It’s weekend people and I hope you have time for some R&R. Weekend or week day does not make a huge difference to me and I will not get any rest soon. But I don’t mind. I’m too excited about life these days. I’m working around the clock while trying to cram as much fun into my life as I can and the success rate is pretty good. On  July 8th we officially opened our LLC production company REPUBLIC ROYAL  here in Los Angeles and we already have 3 exciting

Viking Queen

I have a little confession to make. Once in a while when life gets overwhelming I do something. It’s something I’ve started doing recently and it has evolved and become a ritual for me. Sort of. I’m talking about the days when you face way too many rejections and mountain high hurdles in one day and life almost forces you to either pee in your pants or jump off a random rooftop. Or both. However, those options are not appealing to me. What a pathetic sight not to mention waste

The old saying goes, that a girl can’t be too skinny, or too rich. I’m neither, and I’m not sure I quite agree. At least with the former. However, I would say that a girl can’t have too many beautiful dresses that work both on the red carpet, at the beach or at a casual dinner party. Since I’m Danish born I like to see what my fellow vikings are up to and yesterday I went to visit the store CASMAINE on Main Street in Santa Monica which is owned

Today is July 4th and a lot of people call it ‘The Birthday of America’. The Declaration of Independence, drafted by Thomas Jefferson in 1776 on today’s date marks the independence from the UK and Americans get to take the day off and celebrate. There are tons of parties, BBQ’s and fireworks going on today and lots of people escape on small getaways since they turn this day into a long weekend. I’m not really feeling the whole crazy, party thing so I’m taking a slow day today working out,

Feng Shui Style

Can’t believe how fast this week went. It seems the older we get, the faster life accelerates. After my lovely San Francisco escape it was back to the LA grind where temperatures have risen to almost unbearable heights these past few days. Midst everything, this annoying and nauseating feeling crept up on me and gave me the worst headache for days. Perhaps you know the feeling when things just go too fast and suddenly you are not sure what’s up and down and where to put your energy first. The

In SFO airport and just learned my flight to LA is 2 hours delayed. Can’t believe I rushed out here, when I could have perused the streets of beautiful San Francisco, done some vintage shopping in Mission, had more coffee and biscottis @ Blue Bottle and perhaps a glass of wine at the cute Absinthe restaurant in Hayes Valley and explored new hoods in company of good old, friends from throwback days. As much as I have grown to absolutely love living in LA, I still miss city life. I

Sun Solstice

A little sun solstice hello from the Bay Area, more specifically San Francisco where I’m spending the weekend. It’s work, but as usual I make it be about pleasure a bit too. ‘Korsholm Style’ …. 😉 I arrived yesterday evening and we went straight to dinner from the airport. The flight from LA to SF is not even an hour so the trip is easy. I would say that it is a bigger hassle to get from where I live in West Hollywood to Orange County than flying to San Fran. Anyways,

Weekend is here and for us here in LA that means the kick-off of LA Film Festival, which I’m excited to attend for the first time ever. The past 5 years I was traveling when the festivities were going on. But since I took the wow in February  not to travel unless I’m über well paid or it is for family reasons I’m here and happy to be so. Ok, so a quick catch up on the week that just passed: I’m setting up a new company with my business

Happy Sunday people! Just dropping in with a little update of LA living. The days have been occupied with writing, auditioning, looking through contracts with my manager and finishing the nights off with social events. I could use a day in, but I don’t think that will happen anytime soon. I am not complaining though, because the energy right now is great and I’m riding it with a smile. No rest for the wicked ;-). Hot yoga is my actual stabilizer to be honest. It calms me, keeps me grounded,
