The Redneck Viking is Almost There

Just dug out these images from a shoot I did in March with photographer PK. We call it the ‘Redneck Viking‘ look because of my viking roots and the cowgirl/white trash look I’m sporting. Suede vintage chaps, Dolce & Gabbana hot pants, Object denim vest and PK’s hat.  We are planning our next shoot shortly, which will be very character driven.

Other than showing these images I have not so much to show on the fun, merry-go-around and happy go lucky  ‘plus’ account these days. I haven’t been to the gym in yeah …. haha let’s not get into that and I’m drinking way to much instant coffee and coca cola (who does that any more..????), French rosé on ice and tiny toasts with marinated salmon, ricotta and lemon or the ones with fresh shrimp. Both from Fig & Olive on Melrose Place. I eat and drink to survive the finale of my book writing. Yes, the infamous book about New York. And she is almost done – Yay!!!!

I feel like a formula 1 driver during his last round in the narrow streets of  Monaco. This is the exact point where he reaches the point of absolutely no return. He crams the steering wheel and pushes the pedal all the way to the metal because he  knows, that it is only a matter of tiny entities before he flies over the final line to a choir of beautiful girls, vintage champagne and days of parties at the glamorous Côte D’Azur. 

I’m very well aware that I will not be received the same way. Hence I have my own little parties with rosé and food extraordinaire.
