The 7 Year Itch
Some people call it ‘The 7 year itch’. A sweet, yet disturbing and alarming itch reminding you of something you should consider or perhaps change. A lot of times it relates to your relationship to your spouse, girlfriend or boyfriend. At least that is what the books say. I have a hunch that it can relate to a lot of other things as well.
Alright, I have been back and forth between Copenhagen The US and the rest of Europe since I was 12, but the last 7 years I have spent abroad, on my own with a base in NYC and later LA. So it is funny to hit Copenhagen this Summer and for the first time in so long get an actual ‘itch’.
Yes, I miss LA, my friends and my work in the city of angels and possibilities and I am very excited to go back. But I won’t lie; It is amazing as well to spend time with family and old friends on a regular basis.
The following pics are from the last week here in the neck of my woods. I hope you enjoy them. More to come very soon 🙂
The Marina in the old, Danish fisher man’s village Gilleleje. My grandmother used to live here. #childhood
Heather Hills. One of the absolutely most gorgeous and relaxed areas on the North coast of Denmark. My family has lived here since I was a baby and it always feels like home visiting…..

Ok, one picture of a party situation is in place. The only one I have from this night at ‘Simons’. A night club in Copenhagen. Mazja, I & Christel… #NYC
Waking up with a hangover and creating huuuuuuge layer cakes for my mother’s birthday is the best cure. I kid you not! This one is blueberry. Yum!!!
