S MAGAZINE PARTY
Last night was the Party of S Magazine. Last time I went to S’s party was in New York 2 years ago and I ran into a bunch of peeps I hadn’t seen in years. Same thing happened last night. It was an eclectic and very good crowd. Très ‘fashion’ at least in LA terms.. 😉
I had just come from a casual meeting with a director and a producer down on 3rd street and hadn’t had time to go home and change. Happy that I always have a pair of xtra heels in my Ford Bronco. A girl gotta be prepared in this city. In New York I’d carry my heels in my handbag, here I have them in my car. That kind of gives you the showdown of the difference between New York and Los Angeles. Yes, LA is the sunshine state where life is comfy and easy. No bite and no nerve, but plenty of palm trees and broad smiles.
Here are a couple of snaps from last night:

Like the bag
OMG! This bag ‘Fjällräven’ is the epitome of Scandinavia! We all carried it to school when we were kids. Stuffed with heavy books, smelly lunch bags and color pencils. Mine was light blue. Such a blast from the past.
2 black leather jackets leaving the scene and moving on to Roxy for some rock’n’roll… and interestingly enough the guys in the band performing this night all used to play with Juliette Lewis – the cover girl of this issue of S Magazine. Talk about a small world.

Wow this is a great resource.. I’m enjoying it.. good article
