New Years Done The Blonde Way

Saying goodbye to 2011 was not hard. Not a drop. I was prepared, aimed and ready like never before to jump into a new year filled with possibilities and fun adventures.

That being said, I’m really not big on New Years’ Eve. I think it is an event blown out of proportion. I love Christmas eve with my family. Love all the traditions around that specific day, but the rest of the year I like my days without routines nor traditions. I like the spontaneous, which is probably also why I wound up spending the last night of 2011 with 4 hot blondes doing all the girly stuff I never have time to do. And on this perfect night we did it from 6 pm – 3 am. How glorious!!!? Hair, nails, makeup, outfits, gossip about boys, planning trips to LA (to visit me – yes!!), eating sushi, bathing in champagne with real gold in it and loving life like no tomorrow for only one night. Yessssssir, I can def recommend it!

Music:

Make-up:
A smokey cat-eye and nude lips works well most of the time. But especially when your outfit, nails and jewelry ‘blings’ and shines like a newborn Bentley. I admit we took everything to the max this night and less could have done it. But, hey! It’s NYE so we will let it slide… On any other day it would have been overkill. Just putting it out there 😉

Nails:
A coat of ‘glue’ on your nails, dip them in silver or gold dust (or any color, really). Let them dry for 5 minutes then top them with a top-coat to seal the ‘dust’.

Food:
Sushi. Easy, super delicious and beautiful.

Drink:
Chablis, Champagne, vodka soda with lime (skinny bitch indeed)

Fashion:
Anything that surprises and makes you feel alive.
