NYC BABY!

Up at the crack of dawn again (almost). Well it was 7 a.m. and considering I went to bed after 2 a.m. it was quite an achievement. Last night I had quite a few meetings and topped the day off with the famous McCarthy salad at The Polo Lounge. A good way to have the last meeting and say my goodbyes to LA for now.

Getting up so early and doing something almost unspeakable at that hour: jogging for 45 minutes made me so exhausted that I’m sure I will sleep on the flight to NYC. The fact that I always pack the same morning I’m leaving makes me bring crazy stuff that I don’t need and forget stuff that I really need. Oh and did I mention I had overweight yet again. Even when I went to friggin’ Nicaragua for only one week I started out with overweight. I will never learn. But what’s a girl to do when she has to pack for 1,5 months of traveling..? NYC, Greece, Copenhagen, NYC and then back to LA.

Now I’m in the lounge waiting to board the flight. I’m staying with one of my best friends in The West Village while I’m in NYC and my other good girl friend from Copenhagen is flying over today as well so we are going to be triple trouble in Manhattan and Montauk. A riot! Nothing less. Will fill you in on the details as we go along…
