Last Day in the Lush Jungle… The Concrete Jungle Awaits

It’s almost time to leave the lush jungle and return to the concrete jungle again. Sunday I’m saying goodbye to morning swims in the Pacific Ocean, palm trees swaying in the 90 degrees breeze, flip-flops, tunics, no make-up and wild hair. It’s time to return to my home in LA, which is always nice even though I will miss beach and jungle life. But I looooove my own bed and the calm and comfort of my apartment and I miss my friends in LA too.

Apart from unpacking sandals and sunblock, doing laundry and hitting a class of hot yoga or two for good measure I’ll be getting right into audition maniac. Luckily It’s a super busy time for me right now so all of next week is packed with auditions, callbacks and meetings. I’m excited!

Friday – a week from today I’m on another flight. This time Copenhagen bound. Hasselblad is shooting their new World Campaign and of all amazing artists in the World they picked the Danish photographer Henrik Soerensen to shoot their new image. And his team picked me to be part of their dream team. It will be tons of fun and yet again a challenge since we will be shooting under water in a huge custom made couture gown from the amazing brand Trash Couture. 2 of my best friends got married in Trash Couture dresses and I can’t wait to see what style they have picked. I don’t want to tell more about the shoot (because there is plenty more) until I know details and know that I am allowed to leak the info.

After that shoot I have a few more jobs in Copenhagen plus meetings to attend and of course lots of family and friends down time before I’m off to LA again. A busy january, but I guess now is the time to be wild. Because if not now then when…?

With that I leave you and hope you have a wonderful weekend. I intend to enjoy it the fullest. I skipped the gym today and right now I can hear a cold glass of white wine with ice calling my name…. 😉

XOXO KK
