Hooters Baby!

First weekend in Las Vegas since I arrived Tuesday and a very, very different one from what I’m used to. Usually when I’m in Sin City we stay in some fancy hotel (The Cosmopolitan) and party like no tmro. This time, not so much.

The whole team of actors and crew is staying out in a huge house 15 minutes from The Strip. Even though I miss my own bed I like staying on location. It brings everyone closer together and I think the work becomes better and more focused than when you get to stay at your own place.

Friday night after we wrapped we stayed in and around the house, dipped in the pool, had dinner at home and played cards and games until we crashed. Saturday morning I went to the gym for 1,5 hours with one of the other actors and one of the photographers. (I cannot remember the last time I was in a gym for that long). Post gym it was pool and play time until the whole team ventured into the Las Vegas Strip where our director wished to dine at ”The Hooters” (!)  A restaurant/club/casino where the servant girls are supposed to be all about big boobs. Sorry to say, that it was not the case. They we beautiful and all, but I didn’t see any big ‘hooters’, which was a bit disappointing.   After ”Hooters” we tried the local roller coaster and my throat is still sore from screaming. Dang it was scary! I can’t recommend it. A few drinks and casinos later I was ready for bed.
