Emerging Artists in Los Angeles

‘-What does being an artist mean to you’? ‘-What elements do you look for when you choose projects’? ‘-What are your goals for your acting career?‘

These were a few of the questions posed today at the interview by ”Blue Ambition Emerging Artist in Los Angeles”.

PK, photographer, DP, director and brilliant artist is the man behind the brain child, which goal is the following: ”The project is meant to show the depth and breadth and international diversity of the artistic talent struggling to make it in this great city of Los Angeles in 2012. The interviews reflect the artistic journey that each of these individuals are undertaking” says PK.

The interview was long and not usual at all. (There were obviously many more questions than the above). It took hours and a lot of soul searching on my part to nail the answers. And I found space and a safe opportunity to reevaluate what I am doing, why I am doing it and maybe more importantly why I cannot stop doing it. I am honored to be a part of this project and I am very curious to hear the rest of the pack’s story about their journey and experience in LA.

And with those words I bid you goodnight. I just learned that I’m off to Vegas Wednesday already. I thought it was Friday. Oops! Tmro morning we are locking down the last of the outfits and then it’s just rehearsals 24-7 for my part. I will try to update this blog as much as possible as we proceed.
