Birthday Baby!

This week was my birthday and to be honest I had both ups and downs about it. Not so much the ‘one more year thing’, but more the ‘what to do and with whom’.

It began when I attended a girls’ spa-dinner-club birthday for one of m beautiful friends here in LA some weeks ago. It was a fun event and suddenly I was like ‘damn, what should I do?’. I’m not into big stuff unless my family is involved so I was contemplating my options. But as usual, life has a way of working things out and all the worry is put to shame. I had the most amazing lunch at The Ivy in Beverly Hills, which is quite a scene in a fun way. Outdoor patio, celebrities, paparazzies and tourists too. But the food and service is always great and we had a really fun time.

Then I had an audition in century city (the life of an actress) and after a power nap with no real specific plans for the night I found myself ending up at 2 different concerts and an after party. Absolutely not scheduled. Especially not when you have work the next day. However, a Danish band called Disneyland After Dark, were in town and I am friends with 2 of the band members so it was fun to catch up and later the intimate Austin Brown concert at The Sayers club. Raw talent if I ever saw it. Wow!

I can’t say I didn’t have fun on my birthday, and to top it off, tmro is another bday party. More info and pictures to come 😉
