A white Christmas

This year is different. I’m spending Christmas in legendary author Hans Christian Andersen’s hometown Odense. My father and my 2 American siblings moved into their brand new penthouse on December 22nd here in this little, cute, remote city. So everything is indeed very, very different…. But in a good way different. Even though most of their interior is still sort of in boxes and being decorated as we go along the Christmas spirit is high here in the state of Denmark.

The kitty, Avatar keeps climbing the Christmas tree so it tumbles on her, my brother made the most amazing duck last night, my sister and I had a lot of red wine and talked till the wee hours and we ate so much chocolate it’s not even funny, which is business as usual on this side of the family.

Here are a couple of shots from yesterday…

🙂

Morning tea served in the old school china my family has had forever and ever. Can’t believe it survived all the moves from continent to continent.

Father & I out on a Christmas run in the snow… Of course he is on the phone 😉

How cute…

Avatar & I fooling around on Christmas eve. Even though I brought my Costume National evening gown for the Christmas dinner we all decided to keep it casual so I stayed in my ‘Boy Toy’ sweat top, American Apparel tights, Ralph Lauren cardigan and no makeup look…
