Demons, Work and Love in Los Angeles

 OK so the last few weeks have been super hectic and even more so the last week.  I’ve been filming and shooting day and night and loving it. Mostly. The long haul shoots when you stand around outside freezing your derriere off in skimpy outfits somewhere after 2 a.m. can get a bit tedious. But other than that I can work around the clock and still feel like a gem. I get a natural high from working with creative people and getting totally and completely engaged in crazy, fictional realities that are far from my own life. It’s like a love story on E except better.

Then of course there are the downs when I don’t know what the hell I am doing. That’s when my demons ‘restless’ and ‘fear’ walk through the door and make themselves comfortable in my flat. A bit too comfortable in my opinion. However, I read the new VOGUE – you know the one with Sara Jessica Parker on the cover (I know; so girly!!) and I realize that she and ex James Bond Pierce Brosnan also have demons that scare the bleep out of them. (They were working on a movie together).  So I guess it’s all a part of human nature. We get scared when huge hurdles and the unknown is in front of us. When we conquer whatever we fear we can relax for a bit until the next hurdle is ready for the stare down.

Shoot with artist Aaron Axelrod. He created and amazing art piece form our last shoot and he asked me to come over and bring a friend so he could shoot us both and make one more.

Natasha Kassar & I in front of the art piece Aaron did of me. I cannot disclose the art piece until the show opens on August 25th. All I can say is; It’s huge as a house, it moves. Literally. It takes your breath away and perhaps Pop Art onto a new level. Aaron is the man. The End!
