Friday Adventure Day

What a day! Woke up with a slight hangover after yesterday’s dinner party in Beverly Hills. I’m developing a solid hate/love  relationship to Domaine Ott rosé and I think we are about to get serious… 😉

They say that the early bird catches the worm. And early I was headed down to The Raleigh’s Studios in Manhattan Beach for today’s last shots for the feature film about Bernie Madoff. The block next to us they are setting up for Avatar #2. I didn’t see Jim Cameron today, but maybe next week when I go down to dub the sound.

Anyways, today’s shoot was an adventure. We were filming on location on a train. I’m an avid subway user in NYC and all over Europe. But I have never in my life taken the subway here in LA. Today was a first. Today’s cast, crew, 3 cameras, skateboards, props and what not boarded the subway Long Beach bound. And man!!! Was it a Circus times 10?? No, triple it and then add shit show central to it. Wow! Unfortunately I couldn’t bring my camera with me today so my pics are shot with my iphone and since I was in the scenes most of the day I couldn’t get much footage.

After a long day of shooting and not enough sleep I came back to West Hollywood and stashed up on pacific salmon rolls, I went the gym, did laundry, took a night swim in my pool on the roof top and wrapped the night with a dip in the jacuzzi. God I love my view that stretches from The Hills to Downtown LA to Beverly Hills.

Now I’m soooo ready for bed in my crispy sheets and I’m looking forward to an exciting weekend. Tomorrow I have a fitting with one of my favorite brands in Beverly Hills ‘Romp London’. I’m super excited to see the genius designer Nina Morgan Jones‘ new collection and try it on. This time I will bring my camera and take loads of pictures. If the weather is bearable Sunday I’m hitting the pool party at The W Hotel and if not; I’ll play by ear, which usually is the case anyways.

Ok, I’m out. Goodnight and enjoy your weekends where ever you are… xoxo KK

Subway Art

Going over script prior to shoot. I wish I had a pic of my look with the skateboard, AC/DC t-shirt and all. Was really fun!! 🙂
