Since I got back from Nicaragua it has been a bit hectic. I always find it hectic after being away from my home. But luckily I am way more rested, relaxed and a little more grounded than I’ve been for months after my luscious jungle fever trip. It is funny how beautiful nature and stillness among loved ones can work as the best remedy for the soul, body and mind. I have been auditioning for a few parts in feature films lately. One of them is for a lead role
Headed back to my home in Hollywood and I’m browsing through a few of my pictures from my days in beautiful Nicaragua. A country so diverse, full of possibilities and unexplored nature. Yet it has undergone it’s share of bloody revolutions, devastating earthquakes and dictatorships and it shows. Some of the cities are barren, cold and basically created out of a few pieces of wood and plastic bags, while others show signs of unbelievable wealth and abundance. Both, however, appear to be in a state of decay. It seems that
Waking up 6:30 am on a Saturday seems to be the way I roll these days. However, last Saturday it was even earlier and I was filming all day and I was still in LA. Today, my location is Nicaragua. To lean on religion and God like that gives a unique peace of mind and peace of heart that is felt deeply right here in Central America. The Nicaraguans do not
Back in the jungle after almost a year. It has been a while, but this place sure still works it’s magic when it comes to getting in the zone of contemplation, grounding, reflecting and getting more than 4 hours sleep a night. I have only been here a day and I feel more sleepy and relaxed than had I OD’ed on a bottle of Xanax. The past couple of weeks have been a mayhem of getting back into the LA vibe, getting back into auditioning and finishing 2012’s first film.
