I can’t believe I never saw this video before! Director Chris Cunningham is a genius. You can say what you want about this video, but I think it is super radical and great to see somebody playing on all the clichés of the superficial well-over exposed LA bling-bling lifestyle and manage to show the sick to the bone flip side without boring the audience to death. Quite the opposite. And to do it with such beautiful cinematography too. I’m not sure if this music video epitomizes my worst nightmare or if it’s just another day at the office in LA … 😉 Either way, Mr. Cunningham gets nothing but respect from me.
