Last night we took the long and winding road out to Malibu to attend an event the boutique CANVAS held. Apparently it was the owner’s birthday and a beautiful crowd showed up to pay their respects.

I was quite surprised to find my old NYC friend and mentor Anton Perich’s work hanging between Y-3 and Ralph Lauren. I had to get a snapshot of the scenario. I love working with Anton and I can’t get enough of his black & whites from the 70’s.

Surfer dress from American Apparel, Cardigan from Rugby Ralph Lauren, Band Jacket vintage scoop found in Haight Street in San Francisco, purse from Moonlight Rugs & Art on Main street in Santa Monica (a gift from Jannik – tons of boyfriend points for that action!!!! 🙂 ).

Besides the free bar, chocolates and interesting people to mingle with, a pretty hot line up of music was represented. RES being the name of the night. And she was a true show stopper. So good live. I fell hard for her voice and sweet karma.
