Make-Up
I have never been one to indulge in the glossy magazines’ pages called ‘styling tips 101’. Or the ‘This is how you assemble your IKEA table’ vidoes, even though I just bought that exact IKEA table and have no bloody clue how to connect the dots. I’m waaaay to impatient to read the manuals and I find it sooo uncool to have a tutor to tell moi how to go about my business. It’s my way or the highway. #Iwonderwhymyteachershatedmeinschool!
But, I guess you can teach an old, stubborn dog new tricks after all. One lazy Monday afternoon I was roaming the internet for inspiration for my Tuesday photo shoot and I stumbled over this site. Lisa Eldridge
It has been around for a while so it’s not like I’m trendy, on my A-game or anything. But I gotta give this woman kudos. (I’m guessing that this tip is probably mostly for the ladies – however I could be wrong. After all we are in LA OOoops ;-)..!)
Anywaysss, I tested ‘The Dramatic Black liner Look’ and it worked. period. Game over girls! Rock star or not. I like these videos. Obviously I am not a makeup artist so for me this works. Why?
1: It’s easy to follow colors, brushes, highlights and what not from step to step.
2: I like the looks Lisa Eldridge is showing and would actually wear them. At least some of them.
3: I get inspired to trash my old brushes and renew my 5 year old makeup from browsing her site. A gesture my skin loves me dearly for.
