I’m having a Vanessa Paradis moment tonight…. These pics are from Seventeen magazine when the style icon was still just a teenager. She is so fresh faced and innocent, yet sensual, alluring and sophisticated….

But when you say Vanessa Paradis you have to say Lenny Kravitz. Yes, I know she’s with Johnny Depp, but sometimes I like to listen to the old Paradis/Kravitz album from 1992. Who doesn’t remember ‘Be My baby’ or ‘Natural High’…?

I love Paradis with a twist of Kravitz…

….And then of course the inevitable song ‘Joe le Taxi’ from 1987. A fantastic almost iconic song that besides the simple lyrics is a proof that really bad fashion happens to truly beautiful people like Vanessa Paradis. But I’d say;Blame it on the 80’s.
