Goodbye Denmark…
Sitting in the lounge in London, Heathrow Airport contemplating the last month and a half, sipping on an excellent cappuccino while waiting for my connection to LA.
I know I must sound like a stuck record, but here it goes again: I can’t believe time flew so fast (!). Suddenly half of September is gone in a blink of an eye. Boom! August accelerated faster than a Ferrari on the German Autobahn on steroids. So fast, fabulous and fierce (not furious) that it feels almost violating to be plunged here, in a comfy arm chair, in a British airport lounge, forced to sit still, anticipating my own homecoming to my Hollywood home. I use the word forced, deliberately since I’ve watched myself OD’ing on activities and work lately. And that, I have participated in with much pleasure and tremendous gusto. I don’t regret a thing. Oh well, maybe one or two things, but I only regret the times I said ‘No’ where I definitely should have said ‘Yes’. Either way, now it’s time for a tiny breather. Perhaps a thoughtful moment or even better; A thoughtful handful of hours in silence while I’m time-traveling West bound.
So what’s in store for me for the rest of September? What’s the plan? Where will I be in October? Where will YOU be? Perhaps you already know…. But for me these are all perfectly good and interesting questions that I have no clue how to answer yet. I have certain ideas, strong intuitions and vague facts about what will happen. But nothing that can be paper trailed yet, which is both invigorating and frustrating at the same time depending on which pair of glasses you decide to wear today. The positive or the negative. Today I refuse to put on any pair of glasses or spectacles. I want to stay absolutely happily blind and ignorant about everything and anything until tmro morning when the sun rises in West over the palm tree avenue where I live in The City of Angels.
So peace out everybody! Enjoy your Sunday and remember to say ‘yes’ more to life in general …. 😉
Pics are a tiny potpourri of some of my Denmark memories from August. Mostly with the family, which by the way, still always comes first…
Wonderful Copenhagen by night…. and by boat
My childhood grounds: Raageleje…. I feel absolutely safe and at home here…. 😉

More yummy mummy bday celebration @ Helene Kilde Hotel in Tisvilde. Our family had the hotel and we celebrated until 4:30 am. Next day we continued in our summer houses in Raageleje. A complete bday weekend for mamma. I already miss it and her … 😉
My gorgeous and talented sisters. They make me so proud every day…Â And check out the location! Again, Raageleje. It’s so beautiful… (‘Viking sigh’ !)
