Fashion Sunday

Last night I walked for Breast Cancer Awareness in The Kodak Center here in LA. I walked for fashion designer Shekhar Rahate who has become one of my favorites when it comes to exquisite dresses. I think I might have to wear one of his gowns for the next big Maquerade benefit I’m attending in NYC on October 28th. If he lets me that is ;-). It’s also for Breast Cancer Awareness and is hosted by Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girl) and takes place at the Lincoln Center.

Anyways, last night the super talented photographer Thomas Kirkevang was with me backstage and he followed me around with his camera. Here are a bunch of his pictures. I think they show pretty well how it works from A-Z when doing a fashion show of this type. From makeup and hair, to runway to, red carpet to getting the ‘H’ out of the couture and slipping into your own comfy cottons…

Finally done. Slipping out of Shekhar’s amazing couture and into my ‘Forever21’ tube dress and trench coat from Object. Couture or not. I know how to take it back to basics hehe ;-).
