Emily Blunt

This weekend I interviewed the talented Emily Blunt at The Four Season’s Hotel here in Beverly Hills for the Danish Magazine COSTUME. She is doing PR for her new movie ‘The Five-Year Engagement’ with the rest of the film team AKA Jason Segel, Nicholas Stoller etc.. I had the pleasure of meeting her, and them (I sat right next to Nicholas and Jason… And Jason is super hot and hilarious!!! Just saying  🙂 ).

Anyways, my interview is about the super talented Brit so I was calm and collected as I focused on her during the interview. Among other things, I was curious to know how she got through the inevitable rough patches, rejections, ups and downs she must have faced trying to break into the business as an actress. Sorry, I can’t help myself; Here is a great actress, whose brain I can pick. I would be a bad up-and-coming if I didn’t. And for the record Emily seemed relieved to speak about her craft and about something else than her outfit, beauty tips, The Devil Wears Prada and her own engagement.

”You’ve got to wear a helmet and roll with the punches. Acting is a very personal job and when you get a job it is so rewarding and if you get rejected  you take it personally and it really hurts. I’m very fatalistic. I don’t dwell or rage if I don’t get a job. I believe in fate and that you will get the job if the moment is right”.

If you want to know more about Emily Blunt and her new, upcoming movie please stay tuned and I will make sure to link to the interview in COSTUME when it is published.

Oh – and PS – she looked dashing and fierce in her cream lace dress, bright orange strappy sandals with a heel and a light smokey eye make-up with nude lips and finger nails…

Here is the trailer…. enjoy!
