Easy Like Sunday Morning
The Big Fat Greek Vacation did something to me. It made me sleep longer. Before the Greek Journey I slept around 5 hours a night. Now I can sleep waaaay longer. I’m wondering if I got a bug bite from some Greek Tseste fly (except they are known to only live in mid-continental Africa). Or maybe it was something in the Moussaka? Either way I feel rested, but also like I need more rest… ha ha… such a paradox.
Anyways, today I went up north to visit my grandmother. She is a dear soul and – besides my mother – one of the greatest women in my life. She taught me everything I needed to know about table manners, fashion and men. (And what else is there really to know about life…? he he 😉 )
But my lovely grandmother has dementia and some days are worse than others. It must be so so sad to lose your memories of dear times with loved ones. However, other times I’m contemplating it would be a God sent blessing in disguise to have just a tad of it. The memory lost. I know this is really politically incorrect to talk about and honestly I’m not trying to make a joke about something as important as this serious disease.
I’m just saying: Think about it! If you woke up one morning and rebooted like a computer. Starting all over. Making a fresh new beginning. Personally I have a couple of things I wouldn’t mind doing the perfect ‘tabula rasa’ with…
I will let this thought roll with you this Sunday and roll myself into bed. ‘Cause this blondie needs her beauty rest. Tseste Fly or not!
Ciao 😉
My Sunday Look: Object jeans, S Magazine T-shirt, Object biker jacket, no make-up and bed-hair. (Guess it doesn’t matter if I get a hair cut or not. I’m still such a moron when it comes to hair styling. Mazja! Where are you?????)
