Druggie Vision

”Beaaauuutiful! One more shot Kristina!” so I did it again and again and again.  Swimming, diving, trying my best to look elegant, like a native sea creature under water for today’s shoot. I won’t kid you; that shit is demanding and not at all like working on dry land so to speak. Water floats right up into your sinuses and your eyes dry out like nobody’s business.

However, we made it work, had a lot of fun and I think we got some good pictures today.

After the shoot I hit traffic hour back to LA and my vision was weirdly blurry and fuzzy like I was looking through an Instagram filter. Sort of disturbing. Like a soft lense POV on mushrooms. Pretty intense. I hear it is from having your eyes open in chlorine water for hours…. Oops!

After getting to LA safely in spite of crazy, blurry vision, I walked to my next dinner meeting with the Greek emerging designer Mihail Kian, who lives here in LA. He has worked for names like Matthew Williamson, Alexander McQueen, Julien McDonald and  Sophia Kokosalaki and has an impeccable style to say the least. I’m super excited to see his next collection, which he is shooting this upcoming weekend.

Now I’m home and sooooooo ready for a glass of wine, mint tea and netflix. My vision is still a tad blurry. I wonder if the effect is gone by tmro…. hmmmm…!
