The last weeks have been amazing, crazy and even more crazy…

I think I’ve changed my traveling plans around 7 or 8 times and I still don’t have my date set for my arrival back in La La Land. What can I say, it’s the best rush ever to live in the moment and follow your heart and desires from hour to hour and sometimes even minute to minute.

But it’s also trèeeeees expensive (!) to be this unorganized like moi. When it comes to all the rebookings of flights around the world I could definitely have gotten a new fantastic handbag (wait a minute I already just got that he he) oh well, you know what I mean. 😉

This particular weekend has been scheduled forever though. It’s my darling grandfather’s 80s birthday and the whole family and friends are celebrating this weekend. We are in our Summer houses up north of Copenhagen feasting in a place called ‘Raageleje’. It’s by the beach and divine to be with the family. The whole family. And I know. Because this is what I choose not to have every day by choosing to live on the other side of the world.

It’s tough. And if there’s one thing life has taught me so far it’s that ‘there’s no free lunches’. Meaning, everything comes with a consequence. And sometime you pay a high price.

Even though I fly over from LA a lot it’s the small everyday events, dinners, coffees and 15 minute catch-ups that I miss out on. Small, but very important things. It stings. However, this situation promotes the challenge I meet every day in LA. It’s the same question: Is it worth it? Is it worth all the hassle, the pain, the longing being so far away from your roots. …?

There has not yet been a day where I was in doubt. My answer is ‘yes’. It’s worth every tear drop, all the blood and sweat shed to follow your dream. And if you – yes you (!) are not doing it yet, you better get to it! Seriously! Your life is waiting for you and you have a responsibility to make the most of it and be the happiest you can.

Hallelujah!! ha ha ha…

OK, next week is fashion week in Copenhagen. I’m going to let you in on my personal ‘Top 5’ list of everything from: best look, most happening party, most fabulous show, best DJ, hottest male and ditto female…. you get the picture.

And then, I’m probably so ‘fashioned out’ that I need a detox. And how does one do that best? With a trip to Ibiza he he….
