You know those days where you are just exhausted, beat and just feel like staying in your PJs the rest of the day and night and do absolutely nothing? I had a day like that yesterday. Except I was actually making an attempt to do something; writing on a new chapter for my book. I had just had bowl of soup and felt fabulously boring on the VMA weekend in Hollywood sitting in my chair like a blonde dork in front of my laptop.

Then Tanya and Natasha made their entrance and life did a complete 180 on me. The two party animals had been at the London Hotel Roof top all afternoon raging and were not done. Not at all. They took one glance at my pathetic appearance and told me I had very little time to get ready before Usher’s private party starts. But I’ve been partying quite a bit lately so I was still in limbo land about the situation. And my book doesn’t quite write itself. Unfortunately. However, when Tanya told me that Dead Mau5 is playing at a private party in the hills I could not resist. Seriously. The man is DJ royalty. I saw him in Amnesia in Ibiza this August where he hypnotized 5000 people. It was amazing. And watching him at a private house is even cooler.

So a quick change from PJs into a dress, wedge shoes, jeans jacket and a purse and we were off to the hills.

Turns out the party was on Sunset Plaza Drive 3 blocks from my old house in the hills. Ha! I remember always wondering about this particular house when I passed it on a daily basis. It’s massive! And has the sickest view ever overlooking LA and the ocean. Last night was cloudy though. But who wants to spend time looking at a view when the Mau5 is in the house right? Oh and we completely forgot about Usher’s party.

What can I say, last night was epic!
