No place has better service and makes a better salad than The Polo Lounge at Beverly Hills Hotel. If you ever come out to LA make it your business to visit the old Hollywood Style refuge.

Seated well lounging in the cozy, dimly lit dining room, with the grand piano playing softly as a back drop it feels like I’m set in a Film Noir yet at my grandmother’s house. So cozy, yet stylish and not pretentious. Good food, great service and old school. Sometimes you just tire of all the minimalistic Philip Starck hype and wish to go back to basics.

I usually meet my manager at the Beverly Hills Hotel in The Polo Lounge for drinks or / and the McCarthy Salad. It’s either here or at a karaoke bar in Hollywood belting out Madonna 😉
