A Walk in The Park
Sunday, and the vodka sodas plus beers from yesterday’s 20 hour marathon bachelorette party are still ‘working’ you.
What’s more purifying than a walk in the forest in Spring..? (Well, online shoe shopping, sushi, sex and gummi bears – and not necessarily in that order) is always better. Period. But today I was actually happy to catch a perfect day in nature. Spring has sprung, but not quite started to bloom yet here in Denmark. I adore spring time! So much new and unknown is just about to happen and unfold before your eyes…. It’s exciting and the forest just north of Copenhagen is almost unnatural and surreal in colors, smells and ambience right now.
Those few days between ‘naked’ branches and ripe, light pink, blooming cherry blossoms are tender, beautiful and so quickly passing… Just like catching eye contact with a beautiful stranger in the street. Sharing a brief moment of potential… and then never seeing each other again.
Here is a tiny selection of my trip to a tiny place in the forest called ‘Raadvad’ today with my father. The nuances of the trees right now just take the color ‘green’ to a whole new level.
Hangover slash forest outfit:
Extremely messy hair, vintage army jacket borrowed from my mother’s closet, Nike running shoes, long, black leather gloves with zippers from Object, scarf from my grandmother’s closet
My father…
