Oh, Andy Warhol!

When I’m not packing for my big move-out next week or working I try to throw some fun and inspirational stuff into the mix.

Yesterday Miss Haya had invited me to the opening of the art show ‘Oh, Andy! The Warholian’ @ ‘The Royal/T‘ in Culver City. The event turned out to be a colorful mix of Warhol’s work, a praise to the iconic Barbie doll and a whole lot of mingle between art lovers, fashionistas and Pom Pérignon devotees. Yes, Dom Pérignon served their Vintage 2000 at the event in wine glasses, which I prefer. So smooth… wow! I’m usually not too keen on champagne, but this bubbly was a true bliss. Not a bad way to kick start a night ;-).

Also, if you got the shopping itch, the boutique in the gallery displayed plenty of tees and dresses with Warhol’s prints on them and a variety of Barbie stuff as well.

Tonight I’m going to another art opening in Hollywood. More about that later…
