Tuesday Stuff

Dear Diary,

Today I got up at the crack of dawn (again) to play Practical Miss K. It’s a role that I’m not always too fond off playing. But once in a while I’m forced to take it on. Like this day. However, I’m usually pretty good at mixing the boring stuff up with some play. At least to some degree. This morning I met up with my girl Sabine for coffee slash to borrow a ton of boxes for my moving ‘situation’. I pulled into the parking lot in my old, noisy Bronco, wearing my old Object army pants, a tee and a beat up leather jacket. Sabine arrived elegantly in her sexy, black Porsche sports car and stepped out in the Helmut Lang leather shorts I’ve wanted in ages and a blazer. God, she looked dapper! I have no idea how she fit in all those boxes in that little, naugthy package of a car.

After coffee, catch up and pick up of boxes I picked up another little ‘package’ by the name of Lehang. Miss L had volunteered to go with me to Ikea. Like Sabine, Lehang also looked like the September Issue of VOGUE. Woe is me in my diluted so last season, practical army look.

Anywaysss, turns out Miss L is the best person to bring in shopping situations. Why? Well, because as soon as I set foot in Ikea, or I daresay basically in any supermarket, I ‘zone out’. My eyes go blank and I cannot make any decisions. Lehang is the opposite. She turns into a general and she ran the show like she was paid to. Usually I don’t like being bossed around, but this time it worked amazingly. We picked up everything I needed and got out of there in less than 1 hour.

After some work in front of the computer and a jog it was play time again. Yay!! Dinner at Beso and dancing at MyStudio, where Adrian Grenier hosted last night.
