2 Years.. and then some
This weekend was the 2nd year anniversary for the Hollywood hot spot Bardot, which made me think; Wow – has it really been 2 years since I moved to LA from NYC? 2 years and then some… actually more like 2,5 years. Time does fly when you are having fun and so much has happened since I packed my bags and left Williamsburg and 12 bags of clothes behind. (I’m still regretting that I left the clothes behind even though it went to charity). I’m not regretting that I moved to LA. It’s my base now and I’m so lucky to travel so much that I don’t become come ‘Sooooo LA’… Or… at least not yet 😉
Anyways, Saturday night at Bardot was amazing and packed with artists, cool peeps, fashionistas and celebrities. Movie star Cameron Diaz, ‘Kiss’ Gene Simons, ‘Glee’ star Matthew Morrison and super star singer Macy Gray all hung out while the latter – Miss Gray performed in company with the glorious L.P. and Nick Simons. Not a bad night to hit this scene if you like live music.
I met up with my old friend Malin, whom I know from back in the days in Stockholm. Malin AKA ‘Miss sexy long legs’ reps Absolute Vodka and she had set up a cool VIP lounge for Absolute lovers like myself.
Here are a couple of pics from the event…

Hahaha this designer girl Charlene tried to move out of LA. She packed her stuff, threw a goodbye party and drove off towards Arizona with a trunk load of shoes, patterns and accessories. 2 weeks later she is back in LA and I believe this time to stay… 😉
