A Day in My L.A. Life

Had the weirdest day today. Woke up still confused whether the half naked lady on the stage belting out song after song was a dream or reality. Her breasts were dangling and free-wheeling whenever the leopard ‘snuggie’ fell off her shoulders (which it did all the time).

Browsing through my pictures on my good old G9 I realized it was not a dream. Reality from last night’s Karaoke at ‘Dimples’ was staring at me in technicolor.. or at least in color. I kid you not! Long, pale breasts swinging wildly in the air lit up by a thousand blue and red light bulbs …. (!) ha ha… It was a hilarious scenery! I’m European and grew up in a hippie-style community house so I’ve seen my share of dangling breasts and… well whatever… But even so it was a sight for sore eyes ;-).

And – you so have to go to Dimples if you haven’t. The place is the first karaoke bar in America (or so they say). You get your own performance on a dvd and a hug form the DJ when you leave and you can pole dance…. It’s so tacky and over the top. I’m in love. I performed ‘Bad Girls’ by Donna Summer.

Anywaysssss, digesting that xxx-rated experience (at least by American standards) with a cup of instant coffee I hit the road for my first meeting in Beverly Hills. My lawyers office. I had a car accident exactly one year ago today and apparently the legal stuff takes forever to process settle. So today, on my ‘anniversary’ for my accident, I was to meet with the suit-people and figure out what’s up. After a couple of hours in posh Beverly Hills and not an inch wiser I rushed to my next audition. At this point I’d already missed one audition because of traffic and suit-meeting. Audition was for a commercial. Very silly. So much indication and no acting. Then back to Beverly Hills for a screening of my friend’s new feature film ‘I Want Your Girl’.

Here I am with fashionista Lehang, actress/producer Agnese Zeltina just before the screening. 3 foreigners and the Stars and Stripes. 😉

I’m wearing my new coat by Object, scarf by Rikkemai and Balenciaga bag.
