It does it all the time. It hits me with this uncontrollable speed and out of nowhere situations that I must deal with. It throws me curbs, twists and turns. Devastating and exhilarating. From heavy, pouring tear drops to bubbly ecstasy. Life is crude and at times it strips me of all my guards I’ve built up so far. Often. More often than I like, I find myself standing there so vulnerable and so little. There are times where the grand master plan you thought you had mapped out so

NYC Party

A little video from the ‘All NYC Things Party’ at Willoughby’s where Canon chose to open their new store on 5th Avenue and where I had my NYC book party in December 2011. You can get your own private copy of my book ‘ NYC Head Over High Heels’ by signing on to www.amusedom.com and creating a profile. It is absolutely free and takes less than 30 seconds.   Canon Boutique at Willoughby’s from Harrison Brian on Vimeo.

80ies Baby!

A little iphone snap from my shoot today in LA with photog: Brandon Hicks and MUA: Natasha Lagano. Fashion: Blue Object blazer, Vintage corset and earrings. Stripper red heels bought on Hollywood Blvd.

Traveling from city to city, meeting some of the most talented young as well as ‘well seasoned’ people in the world it reminds me that the majority of them struggle with the same challenge; Scared of success and often times they ruin big opportunities for themselves by either procrastinating or simply by holding on to fear of what is on the other side of what they already know. I mirror myself in them. Nothing new or crazy about that. However, I have realized a change over the last years as

Hot Yoga

”I don’t know if yoga is killing me or saving me”. Those were my thoughts as I blinded by my own sweat stood in ‘half moon pose’ concentrating on my breath and not tipping over.  After 60 minutes of ‘Hot Yoga’ – yeah that is what they call it here in West Hollywood – I felt straight up drunk. Drunk and soaked by my own sweat. I know: gross! In the locker room, after practice, I put left my cowboy boot on my right foot and vice versa without noticing

So… It’s been a while since I paid attention to the blog. Let’s face it; I’ve been exhausted and didn’t really have anything in me. After New Years in Copenhagen I went for a short trip to New York and now I’m high up in the air 2 hours away from what I hope to be a smooth touchdown in Los Angeles. And honestly, I am longing to sleep in my own bed by now. It’s over due to put it mildly. I vaguely remember the three days I spent

Saying goodbye to 2011 was not hard. Not a drop. I was prepared, aimed and ready like never before to jump into a new year filled with possibilities and fun adventures. That being said, I’m really not big on New Years’ Eve. I think it is an event blown out of proportion. I love Christmas eve with my family. Love all the traditions around that specific day, but the rest of the year I like my days without routines nor traditions. I like the spontaneous, which is probably also why

Almost Christmas and I’m more than ready for some R&R. 2011 has been mind blowingly crazy in pace, experiences and very much about closing deals and big projects for me. Even though I’ve had some super highs it has not solely been  a fun year. And now I’m beyond ready for 2012. But I’m also ready to make 2012 my bitch. I believe that in order to change the world you have to be about it and not just talk about it. You in..?!! But before we sing in the

Where am I…???

Where am I again? What time is it? Oh, right – it is sort of weird that I’m munching a butter croissant at midnight. But after all it is 6 am Denmark time and I’m on a flight east bound so please give me a break. And yes, I know I had  a Bloody Mary an hour ago, but please b***! I was re-watching Avatar flying coach. So please give me some effing slack here. The last 6 weeks have been an intense time on every level. I had a

Fairy Tale Status

2011 is almost over and it’s time to make status of the year. For the first time ever in my life I made a list of goals to achieve this year. I did it on my rooftop back in January and yesterday I accidently stumbled over the little piece of paper. Would I be able to check all the boxes here almost 12 months after? Not entirely. But some of my bigger ‘items’ on the list were actually achieved. Check! Some still to come, and others sort of morphed themselves
