After Fashion

Last night I was in a fashion show here in LA. It was for a young designer who makes amazing dresses. The kind of dresses where you feel like a million dollars. I will post the pics from the show here when I get them. These pics are shot on my way home after a long nigh out. After the show I caught a second wind and went to my friend Nate’s bday party. He is a club promoter and throws some pretty rad parties. I’m wearing tube dress from

Do beauty and politics mix? If you take a glance at France where president Nicolas Sarkozy stunned the world when he wed ex super model and singer Carla Bruni in February 2008 it seems that the ‘B’ and the ‘P’ are compatible. Here in Beverly Hills it’s a bit different. But nevertheless I had a ‘when beauty meets politics’ kinda experience the other day. Maybe not on a so glamorous scale as ‘Le French almost royals’, but still. When I’m feeling in the dumps and in desperate need of a

Last night was the Party of S Magazine. Last time I went to S’s party was in New York 2 years ago and I ran into a bunch of peeps I hadn’t seen in years. Same thing happened last night. It was an eclectic and very good crowd. Très ‘fashion’ at least in LA terms.. 😉 I had just come from a casual meeting with a director and a producer down on 3rd street and hadn’t had time to go home and change. Happy that I always have a pair

Every Sunday the vintage store JETRAG on La Brea has their weekly 1 dollar sale. It’s not far from my house so this Sunday I went. Tip: It’s best to go early in the AM when the good stuff is still around. You will roam through huge piles of junk and diamonds in the rough in the company of super dolled up fashion stylists browsing for the next ‘it-item’ and homeless people just looking for a cheap outfit. It’s pure madness, it’s hilarious and definitely worth a visit. Everything is

Have you ever had a crush on a person from the same sex as you? Well, Erin Wasson is my girl crush number one. Her style, attitude and look rocks my world yesterday, today and tomorrow. Take a look!

I don’t know what is up with this mad obsession I got with reggae all of a sudden…..? However, I rediscovered this track with Estelle and Sean Paul on my Ipod and dig it big time. But somebody should consider giving Sean Paul a make over… sorry… Just putting my 2 cents in… Estelle – Come Over Ft. Sean PaulEstelle | MySpace Music Videos

Artificiality

I don’t know if we were going for a cyber space Farrah Fawcett meets messy china doll look here. But I kinda like the artificiality and spaciness of the picture. Photography: Karla Gotcher Make up & Groom: Eva Woodby Location: Pasadena April 2010

New Shot

Just got this shot today. It’s from a shoot I did just before I went to Europe. I like the colors a lot. Photography: Justin Price Make-up & Grooming: Deidra Burtonelli Fashion: Dress is Alexander Wang, Jewelry is a mix of vintage, Marc Jacobs and personal picks from my travels to India

The Danish founded avantgarde magazine S Magazine (‘S’ stands for SEX) launches in LA on Wednesday. Apparently the photos in this magazine are picked without looking at who shot them, but solely at what looks amazing and feels different. To pick the content purely from an artistic point of view and not from the idea that ‘name’ photographers and models will sell better is idealistic and super cool. I like this stand point hence it can help promote new rising star photographers and artists who usually never have a chance

Rock Stars

This is the story about the hot, young UK based musician and the sexy up and coming fashion designer who met in a quaint bar in the city of angels. Kate & Pete, step over! Here comes the 2 new rock stars all dressed in black and leather. Oh – and PS – the blond in black feathers on the left is the photographer. The photo booth didn’t work so we used my camera instead. … and we took it to the cab where the party continued….
