Hey, I just got this ‘yalla-vintage’ dress down in some random store on Hollywood Boulevard. It’s handmade from India and the bead work is amazing. It was basically a steal. Usually Hollywood Boulevard is a part of town that sucks. It consists pretty much of only tourist traps. But if you look around for a bit you can find some really odd and cool things. I also got some super hot stockings and tights in some seedy sex shop and a pair of sky high ruby red heels for nothing
LA LOUVER is one of my favorite galleries in Los Angeles. Located just one block from happening Venice Beach this hot spot throws the best of parties for art lovers, collectors and movers & shakers. The other night my friend Lehang and I went to the opening of the Alice Neel’s paintings. It is a beautiful show and you should definitely pay it a visit if you are around. But if you are looking to buy you better move fast since the show is selling out incredibly fast. Pretty cool
My first night back in LA and I’m invited to the Maxim Hot 100 party at the Paramount Studios. I’ve been to quite a few events and parties in my life, but this one made a top 5 in featuring beautiful people. Wow! It was packed with very well sculpted famous boys and girls strutting their stuff all night long. It was such an LA experience on soooo many levels and a smack in the head arriving from little Copenhagen not even 12 hours earlier.’Welcome back to LA LA LAND
So today I’m obsessing over this song by Tanya Stephens and the video is smoking hot too. I know the track is old, but nevertheless it still gets me every time. It’s sultry, seductive and make you wish for a tropical summer… all summer… Enjoy!
Everybody at my sister’s wedding got their picture taken. Yours truly included. And since I didn’t bring a date I goofed around in front of the camera alone until the groom’s brother came and joined me in… well, even more goofiness he he 😉 My gold, knit dress is from last year’s trip to Ibiza. I bought it in a tiny no name store. Jewelry is all vintage.
Ocean View from Gilleleje (Denmark) I always find it weird when I leave LA to go to Copenhagen. On one hand it’s the best, but on the other it’s tough to adjust into the atmosphere, temperature and pace of my old home town. The same goes when I leave Copenhagen to go back to LA. It’s a change of gears and I guess because parts of me belong both places it will always be like this. Split emotions and limbo love. Right now I’m blogging from 35.000 feet in the
Two rock stars tying the knot on their own terms… The last couple of weeks have been crazy on soooo many levels: Crazy busy, crazy nervous, crazy fantastic, but more importantly crazy in love!!! And when my sister said her ‘I do’ to her man in church on May 15th 2010 in Copenhagen it was crazy, happy tears… This a little story from the vintage car only minutes after Sara & Mikael became husband and wife…
Today is the day before the big day…. Tomorrow stands the wedding. The big day and our family home is filled with the most gorgeous flowers, dresses, shoes, nerves, secrets, presents, wedding cakes, jewelry and … ‘the ring’… I’m not allowed to show it here – yet. It is AMAZINGLY beautiful! and GIGANTIC!!! I love it! 🙂 Love, happiness & peace… / click for sound
so pretty….
People around the world often ask me what is Copenhagen like… Copenhagen is the Capital of Denmark, which is a tiny, old Monarchy with a lot of opinionated residents who pay horrific high taxes and suffer under terrible weather conditions. Society here is like an Ibsen play with very well dressed actors on stage. A dark mentality, with a dry sense of humor, snobby as hell and often very beautiful. The worst thing about Copenhagen is that it is so small and the best thing is that is so small…
