Listening to Beethoven has been my obsession the last month when I’m home alone and trying to regroup, relax and maybe write a few lines or three. At the moment I have a hard time getting anything down on paper when music has lyrics. The lyrics get me too involved in the song in question and I drift off into that universe…. and away I go…. and out the window the writing goes ;-)… But everyone is different. And sometimes electronic music does the trick for me too. But for

When have you last gone through the transformation from human to mermaid? Never? I thought so. Well, I guess there is a first time for everything. And this was a mermaid virgin experience out of the ordinary. Just Saying. Or ‘JS’ as we say here in LA. Either way the show took place in NYC at The Gershwin Hotel where we watched 70’s short films of a naked Victor Hugo smashing an Andy Warhol painting and much more. Anyways, here is a little video from the mermaid adventure… I’m wearing

Happy Holidays!

… As a matter of fact, the holidays have never been happier! You have no idea how hard it was to find an elf hat here in LA where the sun is out and a short skirt and flips flops are still appropriate. Snow? Boots? Heavy coats? Naaahhh….. Haha.. this is the sunshine state people ;-)… Anyways, the kids’ department in Target came to my rescue and here I am in my little fluffy elf hat posing for a Christmas card. I will show you when they have finished it.

Cover Tries

Just got back from a long day of designing my new book. It’s fun, but also demanding and a long process. Luckily, Pepe Moreno, the amazing Art Director and Comic Book Artist, who among other titles is the creator of Batman and Hell Cab was so valiant that he out of the blue dished with Ravioli and wine. A while ago Pepe contacted me and told me about his new company. A network for artists and after a few meetings I was convinced that my next book should be published

Toxic

Sending an SOS from my bitter-sweet writing bungalow with this little song. See you on the other side… 😉

Lap Dance

It’s been a while since I watched this Tarantino movie ‘Death Proof’ from 2007. But just the other day I re-watched it, and was stoked (yet again) about the lap dance Miss Vanessa Ferlito performs on Kurt Russel in this specific scene…. She is smoking hot!!! And where is she today…? I’m just asking. If I were a guy I would marry her right away…

Rock Star Gone Mole

The last couple of weeks have been a sweet symphony of traveling, delicious modeling and TV gigs, planing my next trip to Europe, planing more work in NYC, fun dinners, shows in quaint little theaters, researching Marylin Monroe for acting class, reading scripts and writing a couple of lines in my upcoming book now and then… I guess more then than now… However, the life of this little rock star did a 180. I realized that I had to get serious like a heart attack about my writing to meet

Back in the days this is what a daring and new commercial looked like. A very young and beautiful Brooke Shields stating that nothing comes between her and her Calvins. Miss Shields is stunning. No doubt! But I’d fire that copywriter in a heart beat.

New Book Sneak Peek

These days I’m tossing words, sentences and ideas from left to right to make ends meet. Hopefully this at times agonizing journey will turn into a fun, inspiring and entertaining book about the City that never sleeps. My lover, my soul mate, my teacher, mentor, lifeline and punisher on so many levels. Next week we are publishing 10 pages, the cover and some of the pictures from the up and coming ‘NYC Head Over (High) Heels’, which will be out early next year. Here are a couple of new blurbs

Inconsistency

Ok, here is the deal! There has been inconsistency in my blogging activity lately. Hands down. It’s true. And here is the reason: I have been extremely exhausted. No-no I’m not trying to throw a pity party! Not at all. I’m just saying that sometimes your social gene and your energy level collapses and you need some private time to recharge, breathe and rejuvenate. I even woke up one morning around 5:30 am before a shoot and found my self doing a bit of yoga again after… well… 13 months..?
